History of the ICTMT

Previous sessions of the ICTMT conferences
	were held at Birmingham 93, Edinburgh 95, Koblenz 97 , Plymouth 99 .
The aim of these conferences
	is to bring together classroom practioners, curriculum designers, mathematics education researchers, educational software designers, all of them sharing an interest to improve the quality of teaching and learning by effective use of technology.

The level of education
	comprises schools, colleges, and unversities. Subjects of interest are: mathematics; related subjects using mathematical models; applications of mathematics in industry and commerce.
