gert.kadunz@uni-klu.ac.at   The concept of visualization is often used. Papers in mathematics and mathematics
education argue, that visualization is a central task of modern mathematics education.
Therefore it seems useful, to examine this concept. We invite you to submit a paper
describing examples of practical visualization or more theoretical deliberations to this topic. Some interesting questions could be (suggestion):
Visualization from the point of cognitive psychologyWhat is an image in mathematics?Geometry an visualizationNew technologies - new images? Any contributions, ideas and suggestions are welcome! If you are interested then
contact the chair as soon as possible. Some references: Kautschitsch H. 1997.
