The concept of visualization is often used. Papers in mathematics and mathematics
education argue, that visualization is a central task of modern mathematics education.
Therefore it seems useful, to examine this concept. We invite you to submit a paper
describing examples of practical visualization or more theoretical deliberations to this topic.
Some interesting questions could be (suggestion):
- Visualization from the point of cognitive psychology
- What is an image in mathematics?
- Geometry an visualization
- New technologies - new images?
Any contributions, ideas and suggestions are welcome! If you are interested then
