File cards serve textual input, coding in objectlanguage and metalanguage, elimination o of synonyms, indexing system selction of content trends and weak signals, redundancy, cherence, cluster and network analysis, graphical representation.WINRELAN can be used when unordered, controversia l or chaotic texts are to be categorized, ordered and analysed or complemented and when decisions in complex situations are to be prepared.
