Soil Surveyor is a presentation tool for interacting with a study landscape and for taking virtual soil samples anywhere in the area, thus creating a virtual field trip which is a simulation of a soil ls mapping excursion.

Hard- and software needed to run the program:

Computer type and processor: IBM-compatible PC with 486 processor
Graphic device: Screen display of 800 x 600 at 256 colours
RAM: min 5 MB available in Windows
Harddisk space: 23 MB
Other harware needed: For classroom use, it is assumed that the software will be run over a PC-NFS or Novell network. Can

Remarks: To ensure correct operation of the configuration editor, the program should be installed from floppy discs an not by ftp transfer.
