Neurosim for Windows

Neurosim for Windows is a set of programs for use in teaching neurophysiology. Each program addresses a key learning topic by simulating an appropriate type of experiment with a wide range of user-def fined parameters.Three programs are currently available:1. HH simualtes the Hodgkin-Huxley model of a nerve impulse2. Network allows the construction of arbitrary circuits of neurons with different me mbrane properies, interconnected by synapses with a wide variety of different characteristics.3. Patch simulates the kinetic properties of single ion channels. Neurosim is primarily intended as a supp lement to lab exercises, it can also be used asa visual aid during lectures.
