LightPipes

LightPipes is a portable set of UNIX-style tools written in C for UNIX platforms. Beta release includes a fully functional port to MSDOS. The toolbox is aimed to modeling of propagation, diffraction a and interference of the coherent lieght in a free space.

Hard- and software needed to run the program:

Computer type and processor: UNIX workstation, PC w/LINUX or MSDOS
Graphic device: X-windows for GUI graphical output in PS format
RAM: 4 MB min. 16 MB required for good performance
Harddisk space: 16 MB
Other harware needed:
Operating system and shell: any UNIX-like system, MSDOS
Other software needed:
Remarks: The minimum setup requires only C compiler and bare Unix. MSDOS port will run virtually on any 386/387 having enough RAM and disk space. For the full setup, TCL/TK, Ghostscript and Gnuplot are needed
