Hard- and software needed to run the program:

Computer type and processor: IBM compatible 386/DX and better, or Power Macintosh with DOS Compatibility Card
Graphic device: VGA
RAM: 4 MB minimum
Harddisk space: 3 MB
Other harware needed: Coprocessor supported. Emulated by the software, if none is detected.
Operating system and shell: DOS 6 and higher
Other software needed: A mouse driver must be installed.
Remarks: ATLAS/ti (DOS) is programmed in Smalltalk/V 286 which is not compatible with memory management managers like HIMEM.SYS, or EMM386.EXE. Recommended is a boot configuration menu (available since DOS 6.x x) which does NOT activate these drivers. For a quick and dirty test the F5 key can be pressed during start-up, then loading the mouse driver manually. Switch to the ATLAS/ti directory and type ATLAS
