OR 2002 Proceedings: Call for Papers
The proceedings of OR 2002 will be published by
Springer Verlag in the
traditional OR proceedings series. The OR 2002 proceedings will be edited by
Ulrike Leopold-Wildburger (Graz),
Franz Rendl (Klagenfurt) and
Gerhard Wäscher (Magdeburg).
All participants of OR2002 who contribute a talk are invited to submit
a proceedings version of their talk.
Information for Authors
Submitted papers will be judged on their contribution
to the topic of the conference. The submissions will be refereed and the
selected submissions will finally appear in the proceedings.
When preparing your manuscript please take into account the following rules.
- The submitted papers must not have appeared in,
or have been submitted to, other symposia or journals.
- The submitted manuscripts have to be prepared either
by using LaTeX2e or Microsoft Word. No other formats are allowed.
In both cases, special style files provided by Springer have to be used.
For more details see the document Detailed
instructions for authors.
- Your article may be written in either English
or German.
-
All submissions have to strictly obey the page
number limit of 6 pages (using the Springer LaTeX2e style
files or the Springer Word templates; changing the page layout
is forbidden).
If you prefer to contribute an article with more than 6 pages,
there exists the possibility of a journal submission.
(
Details on journal submission)
- The first page of the manuscript must contain the
names, mailing addresses and e-mail addresses of all authors.
- All figures have to be done electronically.
Contributions violating one or more of the above rules, will be rejected
and returned to the authors.
How to Submit Your Manuscript
- The deadline for submissions is August
30, 2002.
- Use as subject of your mail ``proceedings OR2002
+ name of the first author + number of the section to which the paper belongs
to''.

mail:
- Your LaTeX or Word source file (as a single
file, with the only possible exception of figures).
- A PostScript or Adobe pdf file of your submission
