The ERME Summer School 2002 has been hosted by the Department for Mathematics Education (Abteilung für Didaktik der Mathematik - ADM) at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria. Almost fifty young scientists from all over Europe and Overseas joined for five days of intensive work, discussion with five distinguished experts and -- last, but not least, having fun in the beautiful Carinthian summer scenery.
