The Alliance VLSI CAD system

Alliance is a complete CAD system for the specification, design andverification of VLSI circuits.It starts from a VHDL description, and ends-up with ready for thefoundry silicon.

Hard- and software needed to run the program:

Computer type and processor: PC with at least a 386
Graphic device: High resolution monitor with any correct graphic card
RAM: 20 Megs
Harddisk space: 120 MB
Other harware needed: Mouse
Operating system and shell: Linux 1.0.9 useing either "sh" or "tcsh", any version
Other software needed: XWindows version 11 release 4,5 or 6. Motif version 1.1.4
Remarks: Alliance runs also on Sparc with SunOS 4.1.1.
